2022 was to be an exciting year for The Whitchurch Band.
Not only had we appointed Stephen Gittins as our new MD, but we had also secured sponsorship from Barlows Local!

In 2024 we still have sponsorship from Barlows Local, and Steve is leading the band from strength to strength, with a special focus on bringing out the talents of our younger players
The Whitchurch Brass Band rehearse every Tuesday from 7:30 'til 9:30 at the Brownlow Community Centre in Whitchurch Shropshire. We are a very friendly bunch, and if you are staying locally and need to "keep your lip in" we would be happy for you to pop along!
Our band regularly has 25+ players. Our repertoire consists of a very varied programme, including traditional brass band works and modern arrangements of popular classics, musicals and soundtracks.

We are a modern concert-based band, with a reportoire ranging from The Beatles to Michael Buble and West End Musicals.
The band was reformed in the 1970's. Our MD is Stephen Gittens, and we would love to perform for you at your event. We are currently planning our spring concert, which will hopefully take place late March/ Early May
